The Story

A small atelier, one piece at a time.

Aurelia is a two-person studio in Antwerp. We hand-forge jewelry from reclaimed precious metals and, occasionally, curate a small selection of objects from makers whose work sits alongside ours — potters, weavers, woodworkers.

Every piece is an edition of one. Because there is only ever a single copy, we release each one through a short public auction rather than a fixed price. It's the fairest way we've found to place a piece into the hands that want it most.

How the auctions work

  1. 01

Each lot opens with a starting price.

We set it just below what covers materials and studio time. From there, the market decides.

  2. 02

Bids move up in fixed increments.

Every lot has its own minimum bid step — usually $25 to $100 — clearly shown on the lot page.

  3. 03

Auctions close at a fixed time — with anti-snipe.

If a bid arrives in the final 5 minutes, the closing time extends by another 5. Nobody wins by refreshing at the last second.

  4. 04

The highest bidder receives the piece.

We ship worldwide, insured. Every lot arrives with a signed certificate documenting the materials and the process.
